“Alternate Beauty” by Andrea Rains Waggener, is a wonderfully written book about the controversial metamorphosis of the “skinny world” as we know it today. It is story about a larger woman whom gets placed into a new world where “obesity” is beautiful and “slender” is foul. Waggener depicts how to uncover the fail of uglyness to unvail the truth of beauty and happiness. It is a slow starter however a good weekend read.
