Hey all, I apologize for letting this website sit and languish again! I have found myself extremely busy and at the same time, interested in different genres of books (again). I am currently going through an ‘Ancient Egyptian History’ and ‘Speculation’ reading phase. Of course every night I still read a few chapters of a chick lit novel before going to sleep, but rarely anything new. Sophie Kinsella’s Twenties Girl is sitting on my nightstand, unread, as are a couple of other recent/new releases. I also have about 3 somewhat recent chick lit novels that I’ve read in the past couple of months, but have yet to review.
I don’t want to keep promising to update this site, but I will do my best to update it soon and add the reviews…
I am interested to know if anyone on here would like me to set up a new forum on this site? One person commented on a recent post that they would be interested in chatting with fellow chick lit fans on a forum. (Long-time fans of this website will remember we used to have a pretty active & fun forum, which unfortunately got deleted during a server crash). I’d be happy to set up a new one if enough people respond and are interested. So IF any of you would be interested, please leave a comment on this post and let me know! I will be back to check in a few days.

Hey all, thanks for the feedback! I really appreciate it, especially given the fact that I’m so lazy in keeping the site up-to-date.
So far I’ve only heard from about 6 people that they want the forums back!
I just found your site and have been hoping to find a site to give me different ideas of books to request. My library doesn’t have a good ‘chicklit’ selection but we belong to a huge network so I can get most books but not knowing to request has really put a crimp in what I would be able to find. I would really be interested in the forum. I love to talk about the books but don’t know many people who read these types of books.

I’ve just found your site, but I would be interested in the forum! I hav been having a really difficult time finding chick-lit in my local libraries. It’s not c onsidered its own genre, even by the librarians (who look at me blankly when I ask and then site some favorites like Sophie Kinsella as examples … which ends up having them point me to “k” in the fiction section). Another thing is the lack of chick-lit in books on CDs – hardly any! Thanks for the great resource!

I stumbled across your site recently and think it is a gold mine. I have been reading what I consider good “chick lit” for years and am always searching for new authors and books to read. I would be interested in a forum. For the past year, I have been keeping a spreadsheet listing the books I’ve read and accompanying A, B C ratings. I’ve done this for a few reasons: one is that I have bought books that I have already had read and another is that I plan to re-read some of the books that I loved the best when I retire. Also I’ve bought many books in the UK and now some of those have been published in the US under different titles. Looking forward to your return.
Please don’t stop reviewing chick lit books, I RELY ON YOU!

hai…i love this genre of chick flick books…although i used o read serious stuff earlier but i my boyfriend was really mean and i was so depressed…i thnk it is a good platform to read about other women(in Novel) who are also like me…..it relaxes me and has helped me regain my confidence…raher than being in the company of some shitty boyfriend….please keep me updated on ltest chick lits…thnks

I have just discovered this site as well. I would love to have a forum and would love to have you actively reviewing books, but I understand what “real” life is like for you as well as many others, and know you can’t do and can’t be to hundreds of people. When you do return to update info., we will all be here waiting for you. This site is awesome. Thanks so much for taking the time when you can take it.
